BITSAT is a computer-based online entrance test for the
Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani. BITS, a deemed university, is an all-India Institute for advance education. It awards it own degrees. The Institute grants admission for its Integrated First Degree programs on the basis of
BITSAT. The BITSAT is common for the Pilani,Goa and Hyderabad campuses of BITS.
Around 1,50,000 students attended BITSAT-2010. Less than 2% (2000) of the students are selected every year.
BITSAT is the first complete online based admission procedure for any undergraduate course in India. These online tests are conducted at 21 centers in India, during the months of May and June every year.
